Exchange Money in Kuala Lumpar or Thailand

I will be visiting Kuala Lumpar (first time) in January and was wondering whether it is better to exchange Baht to Ringgit here in Thailand or wait till I get to KL.   I have enquired at money outlets in both Chiang Rai (Superrich) and Bangkok (DeeMoney, Sukumvit) and neither had any Ringgit.  I will be traveling to Bangkok again at the end of this month.  Or is KL a better option and rate.
