Looking for full shuttle van rental, Thailand to Phnom Penh

Featured Replies

Anyone know a company who can do this? I'm bringing over a van's worth of stuff so will be renting the whole thing. Trip will start from Pattaya.

I would think that most big van companies would bite on it if you rent the whole wan. The problem would just be to get a fair price.

Make sure the company does not just drop you off at the border and let you fend for yourself in Cambodia...

Happened to me once...no mistake...was purposely left to make my own way once we reached the border...even though I had paid full fair to Phnom Penh...

I have contacted several taxi companies here in Thailand. Yes, they all don't want to go past the border.

This greatly complicates things as a vehicle is obviously needed to move my stuff across the border.

find a friend that has a van/pick up with a top in his name, (must be in his name to exit Thailand)  and pay him OR someone that has a van in Cambodia wiling to help you.
DONT use Poi Pet border, but use Osmach or Koh Kong crossing

judging by the numerous offers to carry your stuff across the border from various hangers, that part shouldnt be a problem at poipet

this day and age its all done by shipping container so why not try that.

ps: contrary to popular belief they have huge amounts of "stuff" in phnom penh

something else that you might find interesting. note the wording at the end. also note only 2 trains a week leave poi pet . you arent going to make it across the border in time so plan on at least one night in poipet to then leave the next morning. oh and you might want to get independant confirmation that there actually will be a train as it has an iffy recordarkroyalph.jpg
