New To Phuket

Featured Replies

Just moved to Phuket Town (escaped from hot & hazy Chiang Mai).

Have still to find here :

(a) a decent gym and (:o Thai language courses or private teacher, though courses are preferable (I'm not enough organized for private lessons).

Anyone can provide me with info on that?

Thanks!

There are various gyms. One next to Tai Naan restaurant and Central Festival Mall. That one is particularly nice and has a lot of options, dancing classes, etc.

For Thai language course, I would recommend the intensive Prince Songkla University Thai for Foreigners. Very good course.

There are other gyms but I have no experience with them.

Search for posts by me, I made the exact same thread a few months back :o
