WOMAN STABS AUSSIE HUSBAND AFTER A HEATED ARGUMENT

A 41-year-old man from Australia received life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in the stomach by his 27-year-old Thai wife. The pair were staying at the 68/30 Attasit Villa soi 17 Moo. 10 Nongprue when they got into a heated argument about their relationship.

At about 00.30 am on 24th March, the police, and the Sawangboriboon rescue team, responding to a distress call, rushed to the house to find Mr.Josef Scherhaufer (41) was unconscious and his pulse was weak..

"The rescue team managed to save his life. There was a lot of blood," said PDN reporter.

Mr.Josef Scherhaufer, received a stab wound in his stomach and another one in his left arm, was able to recover from his injuries after a successful emergency operation at Pattaya memorial hospital.

The police also found his wife, Mrs. Pismai, from Konkaan, who stabbed him was frightened, stood in the room with a knife covered with blood and waited for police.

Mrs. Pismai told the police that she came back from being out to drink with her friends in south Pattaya and her husband was angry and kept questioning her and had a serious discussion about their relationship.

She was so angry when she was insulted by him, (details preferred not to mentioned) The woman claims that she grabbed the first item that came to hand, only realising later that it was a knife.

Police arrested the woman and took her to the station after visiting her husband in the hospital.

******NOTES******AND******CORRECTIONS

Please note that the victim is Austrian not Australian.

The woman claims that she grabbed the first item that came to hand, only realising later that it was a knife.

Yeah yeah sure!!

If she was standing near the television set at the time she might have picked up the remote control.

This looks like a classic Pattaya open and shut case.

She opens him up, tells the BIB about how he used to slap her about and speak bad to her.

He pays 1/2 a mill in "compensation" and "costs", case closed.
