'Sophon Cable TV on Facebook painted a grim picture of tourism in Pattaya this week saying that the usually vibrant Halloween Festival was as dead as a dodo. 

 

Their reporters went out to Soi Bua Khao and Walking Street on Thursday night and found pubs and clubs decked out and staff in costumes. 

 

Just one thing - there were no customers'.

Tourist arrivals increased from 10 million to 40 million from 2003 to 2018 or an annual rate of 9.68%.

Using that growth rate TAT will welcome 702 million tourist in 2050 and 71.3 billion happy visitors in 2100.
