Over the past fee months I've contacted various insurance companies and received replies and constant emails and phone calls from western salespeople (obviously eager for a commission) quoting me outlandish rates for worldwide coverage. Upon asking for coverage for Thailand only, the rates I'm given aren't much cheaper.

Any recommendations?

No such policies for Thailand only that I am aware of. However there are policies limited to SE Asia. And many policies that are worldwide excluding a list of the more expensive countries.
