Man Stabbed in Karaoke Bar

At approximately 9.30 pm on 25th March the police radio received a report that someone was attacked and injured by a knife.

This occurred in a construction site area Soi Na Jomtien 1 and needed the police. Even though this wasn’t Pattaya police area the officer closest to the scene went there to help anyway.

At the scene the officer found that the attacker had already fled in a pickup truck with about 8 other teenagers to the end of Jomtien Beach.

The injured was unconscious on the floor. His face was bruised and swollen with a large knife wound behind his right ear. He was taken to the hospital by Sawang Rescuers.

Witnesses told the police that the injured man is Mr. Sai Prachongram, aged 34. He is a construction worker working at a nearby site. That day he and a friend came to drink at this karaoke bar and had an argument with the group of teenagers on a nearby table.

When Sai walked out of the shop the men approached him and attacked him. His friend seeing this quickly fled to save himself.

At the moment the police are trying to find this gang for a possible arrest.
