car rental in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi

We will arrive 6 december at BKK and I want to rent a car to drive to Ranong, returning at 16 december to Bangkok. Usually I rent a car at Hertz or Budget but I am wondering if there are cheaper options. Hertz is about 1200 Baht a day for a Honda Civic not including the SDCW. We are travelling with a kid so 2 seaters are out.

At 1200, perhaps you refer to the Honda Civic;

If coming from the UK or Europe, don't neglect:

Cheaper to buy an annual cover policy, than to pay Hertz Thailand's 350 baht per day fee.

May offer better cover than what is offered by the rental companies's SCDW, for less of an outlay.

Don't just go for the cheapest that you can find. You might regret doing so if you need to make a claim. I've had good experience with Insurance4Carhire.
