I really meant down in the man garden..... not face, pits, back etc

Interesting replies though.

Be good to know how old people are as well. Definitely more of a younger person's thing I think.

It like being owner of a manor with a some land, where one keep the garden around the major parts in shape, and leave the large areas to mainly to nature...????

PS: I also needed to google, learned a new word today...????

I occasionally "manscape".

Shaving the armpits seems to reduce sweat and thus bad smells. In The Netherlands didn't bother, but here in Thailand with all the humidity it seems like a good idea.

I also shave hair on my shoulders. Did the same in The Netherlands. I just don't like the look of hair on my shoulders. And of course trim nose hair, ear hair, etc… now and then.

I also shave public hair a bit if it grows too long, otherwise it might itch a bit. But if I shave, I keep at least a few millimeters of hair … don't want to look like a baby.

I also don't shave my chest hair, of which I have plenty.

Well, don't know if it's an age hormone thing or a tropics thing but definitely a change in growth rate and therefore a neccessity as I don't want platts down there !! ????

Hair and nail growth etc seems to be faster and require more regular attention.

Yes, I notice the same phenomenon. Everything grows at a great rate. My b/f has to shave my back in the shower every 2 weeks instead of every 2 months in Canberra.

Diet? (garlic? ginger? chillis? rice?)

When I leave the wife and kids to head to Pattaya for a few days.

when I read the topic headline, that's what I first thought 'manscape' was. how wrong I was.

a BSC somehow got a posh name.

If you don't, you're a caveman. Most men these days understand that inch long pubes are disgusting if you expect your partner to do some hoeing in your man garden. Just as bad on the back lot if you're an adventurous couple. Wake up, old farts. Or if your plot never has visitors, then go back to sleep.

No doubt you believe we're caveman if we don't have like a finger up the back passage or a bit of rimming too.

honestly,
who would want hair in the mouth, pfui.
treat others as you wish they treat you

Each to their own. My Thai partner used to shave down there when I met her, and after we were together a few months I asked her to grow her bush back because I actually enjoy that sign of adulthood. We have been together more than 4 years and she has kept her bush all that time, just for me, the little darling. Now her pubes are about 4cm long and quite fun to twiddle when I am a bit bored. Getting hair in my mouth is no big deal because she is always as clean as a whistle, and in any case, the hair is easily parted for access to the main morsel. Any hair stuck between my teeth is considered to be a souvenir. 55555

As for me, I shave everything off down there. That is her preference so I follow her wishes.

Hmmmm.... TMI methinks.

In '99 I had a cute young masseuse in California. She told me that she kept herself trimmed and suggested she do the same for me before we took off for a planned day at the nude beach. I see her once a year now when back home and she still keeps me bald down below. She has been to Thailand with me three times. I paid the first time, then she paid her own way. Loves it and always takes various massage courses. I was asked, "What the hell are you doing bringing a masseuse to Thailand?" Never enough, lads, never enough.

Better off getting shoulder hair waxed off on regular basis.

Men above a certain age or with a belly should refrain from speedos. Cease scaring the locals

That's cause the 'crease' scares the locals especially when the extended beer gut precludes any confirmation of which way round the speedos (if any) are!

Shaving, trimming, grooming any unwanted hair .

But not the facial kind.

I thought it was planting a garden with manly plants!

I've seen a lot of pornos where the men manscape. Never thought about it for myself, though I do shave the bit under my mouth so food doesn't stick in my beard.
