farmerjo
Has anybody seen pie makers for sale in Thailand. I miss a meat pie and to get a frozen one is a 250 km round trip. Would like to make my own. Tia Edited November 17, 2019 by farmerjo

It doesn't mix the pastry, roll it out or mix and cook the filling. It's just a gimmick, like the 'George Foreman' grill. 2

Can get a family sized piemaker in Oz for just under 600 Bht so if novelty wears off after a couple of uses no big deal.

I buy stuff from all over the world using my Thai debit card. Never any problems. Use my bread machine 2-3x a week, perfect bread every time. I also make pizza dough and yogurt in it.

Popular Post BritManToo
As it's nearly Xmas, and encouraged by this thread, I just made mince pies. Mix and roll out the pastry, big glass to cut for the base. Smaller glass to cut the tops, bit of milk for glue. Into the 'Otto' for 12 minutes. Look all right, but will the mincemeat filling I made last year poison me? Edited November 18, 2019 by BritManToo

I will be fine, possibly taste even better (xmas pud and cake do). I can recommend a strong solution of washing-soda (sodium carbonate or soda ash) to clean out the baked on stuff on your oven. Get it from your pool chemicals supplier. Wear your Marrigolds (rubber gloves). Sodium hydroxide (lye or drain cleaner) is even better but may dissolve the oven.
