Below is just an example:

Your base time zone The time (including your current adjustment) is: 2007-03-29 01:19:05 this shows on my 'controls'.

In fact my posted messages shows a time which is still 'wintertime' in Europe.... :o so in fact it is now 1 hour later 02:19:05

I am at: GMT +1 hour (but the messages show the 'old' wintertime.)

You're not trolling are you LP ?

It is perfectly conceivable that software on a site in the tropics might not be

totally au fait with the vagaries of winter/summer times in the less salubrious

regions of the globe.

A couple of decades ago I was given a gift by Japanese colleagues which was

supposed to tell you the time anywhere on the globe at the push of a button.

It did not miraculously adjust itself when regions passed from winter to

summer time so it was fairly useless and I binned it.

When you are unsure what day it is then you should worry.

The board is using Bangkok (GMT+7) as Native Server Time Zone. If you have chosen the correct timezone and the clock is an hour out, this is because of daylight savings time and you can correct this by editing your 'Board settings' via your User Control Panel.

Looking at the Time settings on the server we have this thingie activated as well:

DST Auto Detection

When daylight saving time auto-detection is enabled, your member's profiles will be automatically updated with the correct time.

Not sure Auto detection is working correct, though.
