Pacu fish where to sell

Featured Replies

A friend of mine lives on a big farm in Thailand where he has several ponds. He has grown the red bellied pacu fish which he now wants to sell. But nobody is interested. Obviously Thais dont like that kind of fish. Now he's even ready to sell the fish to fish processing companies. Anyone having an idea where to sell them in big numbers. He guesses he has more than 1000 fish in his pond.

I've never tasted one. What are they like ?

I have some too, but we just grow enough for ourselves. Excellent tasting fish with a great texture, more like chicken than fish.

They got some fine bones, but other than that it might be my favorite freshwater fish.

And they grow so quick, if I could find a buyer I would raise them instead of tilapia.
