March 29, 200718 yr In the village where I live we can have up to ten power cuts a day. They usually only last a few minutes. The problem is that I rely on a Mac Labtop which I have plugged in all the time. Are this brief periods of daily power cuts drastically reducing my battery life? I have heard that a labtop battery only has lifespan of about 500 cycles. Is using the battery for 10 minutes the same as a full cycle if I recharge straight afterwards?
