Teenage Snatchers Arrested After Crash

While the police were patrolling on 28th March they came across an accident of a motorbike hitting a local Baht bus, which occurred at the entrance of Soi 11 – Pattaya 2nd Road

and then the two injured men on the bike ran off. Later it was found that the men ran away because they tried to rob from someone on the Baht bus but their bike lost balance and crashed.

The men ran into Honey Inn and were arrested within a few minutes.

Thanongsak and Chaiwat, both aged 20, were arrested with the evidence of a 3 Baht heavy gold necklace and the motorbike they used for committing crime, which actually was plate number 222 but they used a black tape to make the numbers 882 as disguise.

The victims, Mrs. Piyamakorn, aged 29. and Mr. Thomas Binder, aged 35, an Austrian national then came to point out the suspects who were then taken to the police station for questioning.

The two men confessed to snatching many times already. Every time they would sell what they snatched and then divided the money to go to discos and pubs around Pattaya. This time they miscalculated because their bike hit the side of the Baht bus and crashed. This was their first arrest since they started.

The police are questioning them further in case it will lead to other members of their gang.

The best practice for being a successful thief is not to run into the law, but these guys ran into a baht bus. :o:D :D

So what will it be......a 500baht fine, a slap on the wrists, don't do it again and back on the streets before sundown.

Another Austrian involed in a crime!!!

How many does that make this week?

At least this one was only robbed.
