Thai Airways International (THAI) announced on Tuesday (December 2) that it would cancel or postone flights to Manila following the decision to close Manila Airport today (December 3) from 11am to 11pm local time due to the approach of Typhoon Kammuri.

The following THAI flights between Bangkok and Manila are affected:

1. Flight TG 620 Bangkok-Manila

2. Flight TG 621 Manila-Bangkok

3. Flight TG 624 Bangkok-Manila

4. Flight TG 625 Manila-Bangkok

The new flight schedule will be announced once THAI receives permission for new departure times from Manila Airport. For the flight schedule, reservations, and ticketing, passengers should visit thaiairways.com or call the THAI Contact Centre at (02) 3561111 (24 hours).

And playing Dunkirk, on in flight entertainment...

Flew In there during one of later 1994 typhoons that enveloped Manila...

Finding that no one out of the country didn'the know that you're still alive - led to a very nice quiet week with no phone lines.

Well I mean it was bad enough (normally) when the village had a ratio of 1 line per 7000 people's. ..

its wet and winds not right up yet so waiting to see as airport shutdown i take it there waiting on it getting worse 09.30 am here.

Looks like most delays and cancellations already done. Some traffic is landing now but previous disruption will carry over and affect some flights tomorrow. Typhoon centre has passed south of Manila and is already clear of main islands, tracking 275 at 11 kts into S. China Sea. Backtrack is possible though.
