BEIJING (Reuters) - China said Friday its relationship with the United States had experienced serious difficulties, but they should work in accordance with the consensus reached by the two countries’ leaders to push forward a stable bilateral relationship.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng made the comment at a meeting with the U.S. special envoy for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, according to a statement from the ministry on Friday, days after the world’s two largest economies announced a Phase 1 trade deal.

The two officials exchanged views on North Korea and China reiterated its stance that it will safeguard its sovereignty, security, development interests, the statement said.

Pirated Windows operating systems.

You're kidding. Even the PSB are still on Windows 7. Most Chinese are on XP still.

Try again.

Don't quote me American propaganda I can read that every day.

Quote me facts.

"American propaganda" = free press, not controlled by the government. Such as in China, where they turn off and block even the mention of subjects (Uighurs, Hong Kong, etc.) they want to control and keep out of people's minds.

Agreed, to dominate Thailand, they favor hot money inflows into Bank of Thailand—with appropriate kickbacks.  Thai economy becomes more and more dependent on the ChiComs.

Well the people of Thailand did come from China and obviously still have strong Thais.:cheesy:

China has designs on world supremacy....

They don't like even playing fields where they can't bully their way through, physically or economically....

You're talking about China or the US?

Yes, quite. Paying people to throw petrol bombs around other countries cities doesn't help either. Or fomenting colour revolutions. Or telling lies to start wars. Or black flag operations. Or getting the neighbours to arrest other country's industrial leaders on trumped up charges. Or pretending that they steal your IP.

Seriously name me one product that was stolen wholesale from America? Just one?

going to be easy on you and only name 2...... 1-my flapper silicone leak proof valve and 2 my flip down sip and snap closure... but could name 5 more if needed

and I thought that was done, same like the deal with S Korea air base, same with Japan, same with USMCA (US, Mexico ,Canada) this one the Dems helped rounded the edges..... in order words the master of the (no) deal has not completed one and the ones he's trying to finalize are all equal or similar to the originals ones, thus trade war with China was worthless, but americans didn't realize they were paying for the tariff's increase.... the guy is only good at ranting/insulting anybody who doesn't agree with him

Don’t pretend you know what all Americans think because you are speaking of less than half the population.  It is unfortunate that at least one third is drowning in ignorance.

Many TV posters blame President Trump for America’s problems.  I get that.  But he’s the first one to stand up to the ChiComs.  And yes, it’s a bitter medicine we must take...

There's more than just one. About three or four hardcores and a handful of anti-Westerners who will endorse anybody or any country as long as it's anti-American or anti-European.

I worked for a tech company in the early 90s. We were primarily selling to universities in PRC outside US. High end laser imaging equipment.

It was common knowledge they were disassembling the products and reverse engineering them.

I learned about this about a year into being with the company on a trip to HK.

WE CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN!!! Blah blah blah I went on.

Everyone chuckled.

The company was privately held. Plan was to sell them a mountain of equipment and by the time they ripped it off the owners would be wealthy.

That company only now exists in name to sell parts for remaining equipment. I think it has five employees now.
