You will always have change from a 1000 when you go shopping. It's impossible not to if you pay with them!

I do the same as most Thais can't break 100 baht never mind 1000

@Iceland states that "pickpocket" know farang! never known anyone be pick pocketed here either.

I live the same Thailand as yours but this kind of informations where the Farang bring their money seems really naive to believe that Thailand can remain as it is now in the next few years and could give new ideas to those who today wonder where I'm going to get the money tomorrow.

Until a few years ago I was able to put money in a carton box to buy potatoes from the farmer in Iceland, then the money and potatoes disappeared. Nothing stays fixed, everything is in motion, especially bad things
