K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
MIne was in junk mail so thanks for the heads up. I spoke to the Kbank call centre this morning. Weary but kind. Everyone must complete. Non US citizens/ residents/ tax payers only need to complete part 2 of the form . The email said it must be returned by 20th Dec 2024 I pointed out that a TIN is mandatory on the form but i've been unable to get get a TIN even though I am resident for Thai Tax purposes. I've been told that i can only get a TIN in Q1 2025. She started down a holier than though track of you've had an account for 10 years how is that possible. I responded with how many times have you asked and we agreed there might be some procedural problems related to administration and tax changes They are going to call back later on whether i can wait until Q1. -

No matter what they do to the UK, no matter how much the Pound Sterling decreases in value, no matter how many pensioners die this winter due to their cruel and unnecessary policies, no matter if the next 4.5 years are spent in recession, no matter if their partners in BlackRock buy up all the available farmland due to inheritance tax, no matter how expensive they make energy or even if the lights literally go out due to net zero insanity, and no matter how many repeats of Southport, there is literally nothing the UK can do about it. That petition could have 50 million signatures and will be ignored and probably just blamed on the far right or the usual suspects (Russia/China) again. It would need an event of far more significance than any of the above (such as someone eating cake on a birthday when they were not supposed to), before the legacy media would even turn against them. -

Rubbish.... The vote was never close and Trump's mandate was very clear. Like or loath it his election promises where very clear throughout his campaign. What worries the Dems is you will have a President than keeps his promises. -

What total fools they are. The don't seem to have noticed that there is a common factor in economic growth numbers in ASEAN, where Thailand is the lowest. They ask why does Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia grow faster? Well, Thailand is the one that restricts foreign ownership the most. Why take a good business to Thailand and give 51% to a nominee shareholder who may run off with the lot, if you can own 100% totally legally. I am lucky, I have Thai children, others are not so lucky. The Thai education system is to blame here, too much nationalism in it blinds its poorly educated people into believing that we are some kind of threat to national security. On the contrary, we would love to bring our wealth to Thailand totally transparently, but the law makes that difficult to impossible. Lucky Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam, they must all be licking their lips at the stupidity of the Thai authorities!!!! -

I received it yesterday. I'm Aussie and in Australia until first half of next year. I'm going to email them and ask if I can just bring my documents to them when I get back there
