Located near the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the large and popular temple is supported by prosperous patrons. The Buddha figure will be assembled on Sunday (December 29). fvw53 Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 It reminds me of European history when every town or city would compete with each other to build the largest church or cathedral and even small towns such as Chartres in France would build masterpieces of architecture....I doubt it made the donors better Christians.
