A couple weeks ago we applied for our first Non-O 1 year volunteer visa in Bangkok. It is currently under review and we are supposed to return and pick it up in a couple weeks.

The worker who processed it told our Thai foundation director that it is supposed to be picked up at their new location (starting Jan 2). Does anyone know where this is? Our director doesn’t remember the exact location.

Thank you!

I have not heard of any new office being opened in Bangkok.

Chaeng Wattana is the office for normal extensions of stay.

There is the one stop center for those working for BOI companies and etc and offices for migrant workers.

Thank you for your help, @ubonjoe and @tomazbodner. We were at Chaengwattana and they said they were moving some of the visa operations to this other location but we didn’t receive the exact address (we thought our Thai director did because they were explaining it in Thai to her). We will ask the foundation director to call and I will update here when we find out. Thank you!

A new office was being built behind the Crime Suppression Division headquarters down the street from Central Lad Prao (Lad Phrao BTS station). I was told I would not have to go to CW anymore and that was going to be the new location. Not sure when the building was going to be ready, this was 6 months ago.

I can assure you if there was a new office open to replace CW we would know about it on this forum since many people use that office.

We'll certainly remember it if this new building turns out to be a pie-and-mash shop rather than a new immigration office!????
