I heard/read about this piece of equipment recently. Apparently, they say it might replace the good old stethoscope. My question is, are these equipment already in use at hospitals/clinics? Is it real? Anyone experienced this first hand?

It is a type of ultrasound probe so nothing to do with stethoscopes or replacing them. Completely different function.

I have no idea if anyplace here uses them for US.

Whatever type of ultrasound probe is used the most important thing is the skill of the person performing and interpreting the ultrasound, not the brand of equipment.

Thank you Sheryl for the information.
