Ali Express Order and Customs

Featured Replies

I order a lot of small stuff from aliExpress, I always check that the shipping is tracked and if not upgrade to a tracked option.

I've had a few items just stop moving and I simply hit the dispute button just before the protection expires. Never had a problem getting a refund for non-delivery.

I recently ordered 10 of an item, one didn't function, started a dispute with a video of it not working (next to one that did), aliExpress processed a refund (a low value item) without the seller even being involved (which surprised me).

Recently I've had 3 cheap items disappear once they arrived in Thailand, tracking stops, after 2 months the sellers just extend payment protection which is just a scam to avoid a refund being paid. No

If this goes tits up I won't be getting anything else from AliExpress. Don't need the hastle.

This is what they do, they extend payment protection so if you say not received, you can't continue the dispute

That is exactly what happened to me, originally delivery date was up to 28 days, they extended the payment protection twice after that and I could only open a dispute after 3 months.

Once the dispute was open AliExpress reimbursed me, the seller repeatedly begged me not to open a dispute !

Sent an Email to DPEX this morning and got a prompt reply.

I can't be bothered to argue as I just want my package.

BTW the cost plus shipping was 3,800 Baht.

With all the motorcycle parts I've ordered from UK,  US, Taiwan also 6 items from China never had a problem with Thai Customs.

Only delivery times from some AliExpress suppliers vary a lot from China.
