30la
I advise you, instead of dwelling on the different provinces or locations, simply write that this concerns the whole national territory! How can you hope to attract tourists and investors with such a putrid air? 1
garzhe
If AQI 109 is correct and seems to be, its now showing as 101, your presently in one of the best places to be in Thailand. Readings at 5pm today are Pattaya varies from 129 -149 AQI Bangkok 146 Chiang Mai 121 Kanchanaburi 162 Hua Hin 149 Koh Chang 110 Koh Samui 142 Unless your far north of Chiang Mai or North east theres little respite from the smog As for blaming the burning on Indonesia as previous years, Jakarta is showing only AQI 74 Get your face masks, its not looking to get better anytime soon ! 1 2

Indonesia burning doesn't necessarily affect Jakarta, depends on wind direction. Singapore and KL are better references for that.
DaRoadrunner
Now even Phuket, usually one of the cleaner air places, is affected. Anyone know where it's coming from?

Anyone know where it's coming from? Cambodia most likely,, combined with the daily local garbage and garden fires. Not only Cambodia is burning off big time, also the Thai farmers in the central and western parts are burning. I sincetely hope this will effect tourist numbers, as that seems to be the only reason for authorities to deal with this. 1
