I’ve been sitting in a cafe for an hour and can see the front doors and escalators. No one has cleaned anything while I’ve been here.

Thailand will crumble if they have 1/4 of the outbreaks they are having in China. The Thais are not equipped for a wide scale health crisis. 
 

I can’t even imagine the price gouging that would happen. 
 

That said, they won’t report a lot of cases anyway. It would harm tourism. They did the same thing for H1N1, Bangkok Post made a big deal about them being forced to not report the numbers anymore.

I don't know the seriousness of the situation and I certainly don't know if authorities are responding appropriately.

I'm spending all my money on N95 face masks, washless hand cleaning gels, air purifiers, etc etc... Unfortunately stocks of those and related items are getting hard to find!!!  Because Thailand has no efficient supply chain for so many things!

 

Maybe this guy should personally spit shine all the other knobs on his knees. Seems he is not living in reality. Judging by the Chiang Mai airport mall yesterday, there is no way in heck they can control sterility with all the Chinese there.

This from the mystery man. Few know anything about his background. Yet, he is worth over 5 billion baht. Easy for him to recommend spending. One thing we do know is that in his previous work, he never had a thing to do with tourism, that he was appointed based entirely on cronyism, and nepotism, and his appointment had zero to do with merit, as is the case with nearly everyone in this hapless and unbelievably incompetent administration. 

 

Great advice, you absolute genius. Stick to high priced department stores, which are almost always empty, charge double to triple what we pay in other countries for imported products, because they have sterilizing gel on hand. It appears you have some real creative juice. 

 

Where did they find you? And in a time of crisis for the tourism industry, were you really the best man available for the job? Really? Seriously?
