Legal advice needed

Hi,

I need a legal advice or ideas from you for a friend of mine who is in a miserable situation.

My friend lives in Bangkok and gets blackmailed by his ex gf. She had an abortion and she now asks for money regularly. If he does not pay she threatens him to report his name to the police. 

I would be grateful for any advice or idea which could help my friend to handle this dire situation.

Reporting his name to the police will have no consequence for your friend. Anyway, the immigration police already have his name on their records.

Abortion is legal in Thailand, no idea what she wants to report about. And no idea why you post on Thaivisa instead of simply using google.

Assuming the female is of legal consenting age.

The event has happened, there is nothing now but move on.

If he cannot due to work or other commitment, he should just cease contact.

Why not blocking her on the torasap and deleting her on social media?

 

OP< not even Buddha knows who'd almost produced a child.

 

How should you know if you were the father. You do not seem to be the only guy in her life. Innit?

 

Block her, and delete her from your life. Why should you pay anything for nothing?

 

I'd have thought that you didn't make the abortion, a doctor did? 

 

Move on, life's too short for such idiotic behaviour.
