And the response of the ladies in the video - I ask again, should we ignore it?

All I saw in that 51 second selectively edited clip was 2x normal members of the public (ie not used to public speaking) struggling to project themselves during what must have seemed like a rugby scrum.

I don't believe it was edited - it was recorded last night from BBC coverage of a leave event. While the noise may have been a distraction, they weren't hindered from expressing themselves, nor were they mocked or belittled.

Without seeing the footage for'ard or 'aft it isn't possible to assess the situation as fully as you'd have us believe. You'd feel same if I served a clip showing Farage & Co being piped out of the EU Parliament by a piper + escort in full Highland rig sporting a BP rosette...

What is there to assess? They were asked a question and they responded. The context of the interview is clear and, from what we see of the interviewer, she was courteous and objective.

I continue to fail to see why you are so outraged. Similarly, I fail to see the relevance with your suggested equivalency.

I have heard people say that they don’t begin to understand how I could defend Brexit whilst living in Spain. This sort of attitude is what explains the long-running series of reports on British TV, where liberal journalists snickeringly interview British ex-pats who live on, say, the Costa del Sol and voted to leave the EU.

51 seconds doesn't constitute an interview & offering an alternate view isn't exactly outrage.

Let us not be short-sighted in seeking to place limits on the potential of the European Union. We have seen since 2004 that enlargement has extended the Single Market by an additional 104 million consumers. This has created greater trade and investment opportunities within Europe and made us more competitive in the global market"

When UK government advocated for EU enlargement, even to Turkey...

These street interviews are stage managed , Production team go looking for people that are willing to be interviewed, sign the relevant forms, Production team will select different groups of people make sure they can speak English as there is a large number of people in London that can't speak English, People are then selected to suit the agenda of the Production team and interviews are edited

That sound like a Question time audience! ????
