Former Democrat deputy leader Korn Chatikavanij, and the co-founders of his new political party, have chosen Valentine’s Day (February 14th) for the revelation of its name.

In his Facebook post today (Friday), Korn thanked the over 120,000 supporters who proposed names for the nascent party.

He said he was very excited about naming the party, which he says reminds him of the excitement of starting work after graduation. “This is the sensation of being involved in a political start-up” he admitted.

From whence it will go downhill quite quickly, though I wish it not to be so.

Just wondering how many totally new faces will appear?

Hope he doesn't allow the hasbeens of the dems, pt and more to join.  And hope he does careful analysis of the mistakes FF has made so as to not repeat them.

I agree.

I wonder if the timing is such that it is designed to take in FFP members should their party be dissolved?

Same here.

He seems like a genuinely honest person and all-around nice guy.

He had some time in public service when he failed to connect - in any meaningful way - with the Thai people.

Maybe he lacks the ability to sell his brand.

Best of luck to him in the future.

Read into his history. Look at his family members too. They are not genuinely honest people. Far from it.

That sounds like my own family.

                                                                 Papa swindles, Mama swindles,

   Grandma's a lying theif.

We're all quite shameless, yet we're            blameless, for you see it's our belief,

that nowadays the world is rotten,

    honesty has been forgotten.

Fall in love, but after kissing, check your purse to see what's missing.
