I've just given up watching the series Granchester set in a village in the 60's, don't know if any of you watch it ,a few series back they made one of the vicars gay ,well no real problem with that ,but in the latest series there is always a mixed race couple ,gay couples and more and more black people ,why ? in modern series i can see that there would be more people of colour but now even in the olden day series more and more are taking center stage ,that and men married to men or visa versa.

Am i racist or is it that we are constantly being told through the media that minorities are the Norm?

by the way my second most favourite cop show is Luther ,

It depends on where you sit on the political spectrum. I presume that you sit right of centre so see most TV programs as left wing propoganda. I sit left of centre and see most programs as right wing. I guess that might indicate that they're pretty neutral really. At least we've got one thing in common, I've watched every episode of Luther ever made. Love it.

Would be more interesting. Last 2 films were terrible.

 

The worst casting was Tom Cruise playing a German Army officer and speaking English the whole time. That film was just bad. A gay black tranny would have been a laugh at least.

The new Dr who is a black actress, disgraceful and discriminates against the transgenders and disabled, or is it less abled now? More progressive and inclusive to have had a one legged, blind transgender person of mixed race who was HIV+ ???? The BBC is a disgrace.
