.

The wheel in Svay Dangkum Commune, has been constructed by an investment from Angkor Eye Company Limited.

The Ferris wheel is 85 metres high with 48 baskets which will be able to accommodate up to 192 people, and will be the third highest in Asia. The project began on 30 June 2019, with permission from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.

I have watched this wheel being constructed during many visits to Siem Reap in recent years. It is fantastic as the photo from the link shows. Interestingly it was built by the Japanese and not the Chinese. What also interests me is that no structure in the city must exceed the height of Angor Wat (not look down to Buddha) - you will not find tall condo, apartment and shopping blocks here. This must be taller than the famed temple. It is located alongside the dual carriageway that links the International airport with the city.
