SHANGHAI (Reuters) - China reported 108 new coronavirus deaths on Feb. 10, the highest daily increase so far, and up from 97 on the previous day, the health authority said on Tuesday.

Of the new deaths, 103 were in the province of Hubei, including 67 in the provincial capital of Wuhan where the epidemic is believed to have originated.

The other fatalities on Monday were in the provinces of Heilongjiang, Anhui and Henan and the cities of Tianjin and Beijing, the National Health Commission said.

The total toll on the mainland has now reached 1,016.

The commission said there were another 2,478 new confirmed cases on the mainland on Feb. 10, down from 3,062 on the previous day and bringing the accumulated total to 42,638.

During a meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang on Monday, a group of leaders tasked with beating the virus said it would work to solve raw material and labor shortages and boost supplies of masks and protective clothing.

They said nearly 20,000 medical personnel from around the country had already been sent to Wuhan, and more medical teams were also on the way.

On Monday, China's President Xi Jinping also appeared in public for the first time since the epidemic began, inspecting health workers in Beijing.

Wear a cheap ineffectual fask mask and all is OK - unbelievable.

Next month is going to be very interesting - this will probably fade out like SARs did - I sure hope so.

Multiply by 10

Same goes for Thailand

Multiply by 5.

Many from China are trying to figure out what the real numbers are. The CCP said all nCoV bodies must be cremated. In Wuhan, the crematoriums are at full capacity. Someone calculated that means about 500 extra cremations beyond normal load per day (5X). One person talked to a crematorium who said they had 8 confirmed nCov bodies to burn and 48 unconfirmed patients in their priority line (5X). The official reported number of deaths cannot be real because the data follows a perfect mathematical curve. It's being generated in software. This has been demonstrated by many people.  5X puts it closer to what SARS should be.

I'm sure like a lot of people, I have twittered Wuhan and the virus - seems to me that the governments of all countries are deliberately not telling the truth. Welding people in buildings, chaining them in, pulling them out of cars, forcefully removing them, the body bags in the hospitals, one guy saying they hit 25,000 dead over a week ago, carbon burning levels peaked over wuhan, etc

Now I know there is a lot of fake news about, but even if 25% of what is on twitter is true, the body count must be near 50,000.

IF the body count is ONLY 1000 odd then when they unlock those building there is going to be a 10 fold leap.

No way we can believe the Chinese government virus numbers.  Same can be said for Thailand’s paltry figures.  They both have great incentives to hide the truth.
