doesn't really matter as the article states no votes to override a veto..  This effort is only symbolic by the congress.

Of course it matters.... this is an issue concerning national security and the opinions of the elected representatives should be well known, even if ignored by the trump.

The peoples need to know when they are being represented by their representatives and how. Vetos go against partisan governmental ideals (which your government is supposedly based on) and are largely unilateral actions at the whim of one man.

every senators position should be well known. Their voting history is their CV, to be held up for examination when they attempt to get re elected.

further... using vetos is akin to ruling without consent... which is what the founders were trying to prevent in establishing a republic (“should the people be able to keep it”... Franklin, was it?)... so supporting rule by veto seems to be anti American... and against the spirit of the constitution.... for shame...

“A45.... a treatise of political division in the 21st century”, will be a component of the educational system in progressive countries before too long.... but maybe not in redneck americar.
