Mick and Paddy go for an interview on building site. They are told beforehand that the only condition for getting the job was to answer a few general knowledge questions and if they got them right they would be in

Mick is a lot brighter than Paddy so he says "OK her'e what we will do, O'll go into da interview first, den when I have answered all da questions we'll write down the answers on your shovel." "OK says Paddy dat sounds good to me."

So in goes Mick and comes out 5 minutes later beaming from ear to ear,"dey was hard but dey only asked tree questions and I knew all da answers once I tort about dem so I did" he says, but just to make sure you get da job I'll write down the answes on your shovel handle.

So Mick scralls the answers to the questions on Paddy's shovel and sends him in.

Once inside there are two foreman sitting behind the desk in the Portakabin.

"Right then Paddy we are jsut gonna ask you a few questions and if you get them right you have the job.

Paddy is grinning from ear to ear and says "OK Den Soor, fire away."

"Who is the Queen Of England" Paddy repaets the qustion and takes a glance down at his shovel while doing so.

Dat'll be Elizabet to be sure" Correct says the Foreman well Done

"Now tell me what is the capital city of England" Once more Paddy repeats the question and looks down at his shovel, smiling he he replies "Ah dat will be dat dare Lundun"

Right Again paddy well done.

Now question three who won this years English Premier League" Onnce more Paddy goes through the motions and comes up with the answer "Dat was de Arsenal" Brilliant Paddy, now just one last question as you seem such a bright chap who has never hesitated to answer a question once.

"Who were the first people to fly the Atlantic non stop in an airoplane"

Paddy once more looks at his shovel and confidently answers,

"Ah dats an eay one dat would be
