Transfering hospitals

Featured Replies

I'm not satisfied with the treatment I'm receiving for a fracture at a private hospital in Bangkok so I'd like to transfer to another hospital. How would I go about getting the medical files and x-ray images transferred to the new hospital? It's been only outpatient treatment so far.

You make a request for them from customer service (or in case of Bangkok Hospital a dedicated desk).  Normally will take a day or two (more if weekend) to copy and provide file folder.  You do yourself as documents belong to you.  At least this has been the case at Bangkok Hospital and Vejthani Hospital in my experience.  This is very common for foreigners who come and go all the time and often no other hospital involved - just taking to next port of call in case needed.

Thank you. I'll do as suggested and contact the hospital directly.

Be sure you have your passport with you as it will be required.
