ARound here no light at night is a big problem!  And that's the whole light not just a burnt out globe...which is still a major issue in itself.  At least some are ancient 2-strokes so there is a wiff of smoke to alert you your coming up on an unseen numpty.   So many people are at risk, often simply because they are reluctant to buy a 20 baht globe.

    Most of these accidents could be avoided if the police did their jobs. Most cars and bikes would not even be able to be on the roads. As for the person who ploughed through a house could not be drivin

People with half a brain (or less), with no education, not willing to learn, not willing/able to see danger and egoistic as hell are driving murder weapons.

Yes but it was 30 years ago so mostly donkeys and camels to look out for.

I spent about 2 years overall mostly up in the kullu valley of the himalayas when I was younger. I think the main reason I spent so much time in this area was the terrifying 8 hour bus journey up the mountains or was it the hash in malana????
