PM Prayut Chan-o-cha is ready to meet people face to face at Government House and hear their economic problems.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is ready to meet people face to face at Government House and hear their economic problems so as to quickly address them.

They can raise issues with him from the cost of living to the impact of Covid-19, except political issues.

PM's adviser Peerapan Saleerattavipaksaid said on Thursday that the premier has assigned him and Minister of Digital Economy and Society Puttipng Punnakanta to find ways for people to directly make complaints about their economic problems at Government House.

The premier believes that people want to talk face to face with the country's leader.

Peerapan said the first session for the people to tell their problems to the premier will begin on Thursday. But it will be finalised later if this forum will be held every Thursday.

When asked if the premier will allow protesting students to meet him too to voice their political views, Peerapan said it is a different matter as this forum will focus only on economic issues.

He added that related government committees are already seeking ways to open a forum for these students to express their views to them.

Other than his likely inability to understand their problems, (cerebral problem) , his lack of empathy, (military general)  and slipping into politician mode ( they are just promises to do something, nothing more) cannot see anything other than total success

Because the average Thai male isn't disciplined enough to refrain from drunk before 11; is the law stupid and should only apply to thais? You bet

I'll bet they do .. this might be amusing .. the earthy northern folk wanna turn up in a pickup complete with family , livestock , gas-stove , etc and make a day of it out the front of Gov House .. an' chomp a few betel nuts along with a slosh of Lao Khao before getting up close and personal with P M to air their concerns ..

Ah, so safely meeting screened people in his own den and away from 99% of the Thai nation that want him removed

...but there's another nation that would like to see him 'stay put'.

Wow! Just tell him your problems and they'll be quickly addressed - just like that. One wonders why this country has any problems at all with this man in charge.

Government launches “Have Problems, Consult PM” program

Prayut-at-airport.jpg

Thailand’s government has launched a new program, called “Have Problems, Consult the PM”, to enable members of the public to voice their grievances and problems directly to their Prime Minister.

At the Government House launch of the program today, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha welcomed groups representing farmers, civil society and independent entrepreneurs.

The Prime Minister told them that the program is his own initiative at a time of challenges, such as the economic slowdown and worries about the spread of COVID-19, and assured them that the Government is working hard to alleviate their hardships.

By meeting with the people and hearing their problems directly, he said the Government will get access to accurate information for use in developing the right remedies.

I bet you they don't get more than a paper with the "Extraordinary" dot already checked to sign and hopefully a stamp for the parking! It's gonna be a huge success! ????
