April 7, 200718 yr I was walking through Lotus the other day and noticed at the UBC kiosk that they're using a new slim black decoder box. Then the other day I went over to a friend's house who's new to my neighborhood and he wanted help setting up his UBC box (setting it to skip unused channels and what not) Well he's got the new box and i didn't get to spend so much time with it but it looked like it had some promising features. I noticed the EPG (elec program guide) looks like it may actually be able to switch to a certain channel at a certain time. It seemed like there was an expanded line up for a each channel (many hours in to the past but only a couple into the future) Does anyone have this box and can tell me about it, or point me to user manual?? If it can to the timed channel change I'll seriously consider getting a DVR.
