Isn't it illegal to export masks out of Thailand these days? There's a huge shortage.

  • Sorry for being skeptical, but there is facemask shortage in Thailand and naturally this is the place where he should "donate".

Is that supposed to mean that he bought the masks in China or was going to distribute the masks in China ?

From the OP...

"So he went to a hospital in the Don Muang area of Bangkok on February 7th to check out a supply of masks for sale. After determining that they were the real McCoy he parted with 1,075,000 of his own money".

He bought them from a hospital supply??

Hmmmm

How can a mask rot? Can only assume flood  damage. Maybe the hospital was going to dump them, but an enterprising employee saw a business opportunity ...

Som nam na !!

No, he bought them from someone who worked at a hospital.

Doesn't anyone read any more?

The masks could have been sold intact. But 3 days after standing in the moldy environment of his house they maybe started to rot.

He could try passing them off as tampons.......:whistling:

Huh??!  Perhaps sanitary pads, but not tampons! ????

too funny.  just like a drug dealer that calls the cops because he was robbed.

The obvious question... Are they washable?

In the UK they are going like hot cakes on Ebay, someone is selling them for £6 (over 200THB) each...

If he was smart he can wash them and iron them and then resell them in the market Thai style.
