Dario
Ever wondered how the Chinese conquered Coronavirus in such a short time? I just stumbled over an article in the Swiss newspaper (or tabloid?) BLICK entitled (translated into English): Japanese drug seen as very encouraging: Avigan is sure and efficient as treatment against coronavirus. Unfortunately, Blick is in German language. I really don't want to translate the whole article. Here is the link for those who understand German, all others might google these words: Avigan and or Favipiravir. Well, this news will be making the news headlines around the world in no time. Edited March 22, 2020 by Dario

ICELANDMAN
I read in automatic translation and it seems to me that it will still take time to get out of the crisis, China is now experiencing it on patients. https://www.fujifilm.com/news/n141006.html

Do you object to the specific facts set forth therein or the concept? Here, let me fix it: Just wait until they all start visiting the wet markets again and ordering a bag of bats/pangolin for dinner/medicine.. it will soon come back, or another one will. Then they will lie about it and poeple will die. 5 1
Popular Post likerdup1
I wouldn't call this light at the end of the tunnel. A cure or Vaccine would be "light at the end of the tunnel" do a little more research and you'll find that this is by no means a cure, only shortens the symptom time or reduces the symptoms somewhat in some cases. IT ALSO DOES NOT PREVENT CONTRACTION OF COVID-19 AND IS NOT A CURE OR VACCINE... it has mixed success in it's benefit at best.. so don't start walking around Pattaya like the problem is solved... Still practice: 1) social distancing, if you have a girlfriend and she is as careless as many Thais are about social distancing and following rules or understanding them have her wash her hands regularly or make get her out of the house for awhile since she could have Covid 19 and not show symptoms for many days... or in other words be a carrier but not "sick" yet.. Doctors calls this asymptomatic. 2) don't go out of the house except for necessary reasons, shopping, banking, hospital. 3) wash hands regularly, soap and water and hand sanitizer 4) disinfect surfaces in your dwelling and any items touched by cashiers at grocery stores or 7-11's.. these people touch many many hands and things other people have touched all day long and are at a much greater risk of passing the virus on than most. The virus has been shown to stay alive on plastic and stainless steel for up to 48 hours, cardboard for 24 hours.. .. even in the higher heat of Thailand it lives on surfaces for an extended amount of time. To disinfect surfaces, you can use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or a common mixture of water and bleach .. About 5 table spoons per gallon of water as recommended by the CDC, use a cloth and wipe down surfaces with any of these solutions to keep your dweeling surfaces free of possible Covid 19. LASTLY-- DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND EDUCATE YOURSELF AND READ ABOUT THE VIRUS ON REPUTABLE SITES .. CDC.GOV BEING ONE OF THEM. It won't make the headlines of decent publications which do a little research. I don't know if I should think it's funny or sad when people get their information from stupid tabloids. What's the point of getting stupid sensation news?
justaphase
It's only just beginning. Can you imagine how overwhelmed the Thai hospitals are going to be within 2 weeks? Look at the curve..33% increase a day. 600, 800, Be prepared and stay inside. 1

Just for grins, I hit a stainless steel doorknob with the temp gun and it ran 42C. I doubt the virus would have an extended lifespan on that surface.
