Like you said, "keep the peace on the streets."  That doesn't mean be private security for businesses.  If that was the case, every business would have their own tax payer funded armed police officer, wouldn't they?

I wonder how much they're charging the shops/businesses for this ?  Because this can't be on the Governments tab...... Just when April was on the books for the big anti gov riot this very handy disease turns up.......  Lucky or fabricated ?

I saw some guys dress up in Hazmat suits. Did a little spraying on the pavement while someone took videos and photos. Five minutes later took off the suits, threw them into the back of the car and drove away (maybe to the next video shoot).

I am not aware any measures have been taken to support people who are suffering this lock down. Where are the food banks, soup kitchens, any welfare benefits at all ?

There isn't enough police on payroll in Pattaya that can protect all the places the ones that are now are paying for the protection sounds familiar?  People actually think police here is the same in the West? My neighbor/renter just came home a contracted police been working hard came by to pay up on his back rent, that is how I found.

I'll tell ya right now...you better watch yer back. As this gets worse...Falang will be the First to be robbed. Especially older guys alone. I grew up on the South Side of Chicago all my life. I've never had a problem here cause I brought my street smarts with me. I am no bad ass...but then again, i dont trust nobody here. Every Falang here should know Thai rak Thai...and we are just walking ATM machines. You better get that fixed between your ears boys. This WILL get worse before it gets bettere.

that is more of a concern at this point - to feed those who cannot afford to buy basic foods.

Hungry people will do desperate things. So be warned, when the food runs out, if they cant rob the shops they will look for easier targets. When the proverbial hits the fan it will be every man or woman for themselves and that is not a long way away. If you can get out I strongly advise you do so but if you choose to remain make sure you are prepared for what is to come. It wont be nice I assure you.
