I have a few Thinkpads, and sometimes they need repairs/replacements. Is it better and cheaper to do this in the US (I know a few good repair shops) or Bangkok (Pantip?). Of course labor is much cheaper in Thailand, but maybe parts are more expensive / there's more risk of being ripped off? Any specific experiences, or general speculation, would be very welcome. Thank you.

Repair by IBM only! The Headoffice incl. Service is at Paholyothin Road (the way from Victory Monument to Morchiit around 2.5 - 3 km).

Service by IBM is incl. Warranty and the price is ok as well!
