It looks from the latest news that more and more people are dying outside hospitals because of the virus. It shows how far the numbers are from reality.

Anyhow the reality and this country are not in good terms, whatever the subject????

The victim had diabetes and was returning from a trip abroad to Pakistan. He had boarded the Bang Sue-Sungai Kolok train on March 30 after a train guard measured his temperature at 36 Celsius.

Despite finding no evidence of fever, the guard asked the passenger to rest before travelling as he was suffering from a headache and vomiting. He declined.

You have to wonder about the accuracy of the thermometre used which found that the patient was too cold.  Headache is a sign of a fever, specially if combined with vomiting.  I wonder if there will be an autopsy to determine the cause of death. COVID kills through pneumonia and he probably would have been in too much distress to board the train or even get to the station with that.

He was also diabetic, headache and vomiting which could also indicate poor control of his blood glucose along with the viral infection complicating matters.

I am sure there are people who don't want to know and just hope it will pass, particularly those who are still earning money.  The other equally serious issue is that there is hardly any capacity to test those responsible people who have reason to suspect they could be infected and do want to be tested.  By all accounts, most of those who can can get through hospital switch boards are being told to self isolate at home which they may or may not be able or willing to do.  In Isaan there are only two testing labs in Khon Kaen and Korat.  In the South, there is only one, in Songkhla etc etc.  In the villages there are no testing kits and probably not in the amphur hospitals either. So someone in a village wanting a test is going to have to travel to a provincial hospital and beat down the door to get a test which will probably have to be sent to a lab in a far away city.  Go figure.

We are in control... hope they got enough boxes!

Do you have proof

Just because someone was carrying evidence of the virus does not necessarily mean it was responsible for or even contributed to their demise.

Unfortunately, ignoring this reality is grossly distorting COVID 19 mortality figures worldwide.

Someone, somewhere, dies of a diabetes related problem every 7 seconds !! yet the companies who continue to sell soft drinks chockablock full of sugar plough on regardless ????

and I wonder how many Thais get the subtle irony of the fact that the people they were sucking up to the most of all are the ones that totally effed them ?

At no point in the past six years, could the term staggering incompetence be considered a bit strong, or inappropriate, when it comes to the army, and this administration.

You are obviously oblivious to what has taken place elsewhere over the years by so called world leaders.

Just rediculous. 1. He had CCP-Covid-19. This means he was a vector. 2. Healthy (no underlying health conditions) people are dying. 3. If you get this virus does not mean you will not be severely affected or even die. 4. If you get the virus then you are a vector be it if you're symtomatic or asymptomatic.

Even if you get it most "natural immunity" will only last a few months. You won't be good to go until a vaccine developed...

I would suggest these patients get tested for covid if they have the typical symptoms of the disease. image.png.fb0979926d5002a37a81634821064a53.pngInfo from covid tracker

The only estimate I've heard so far comes from Dr. Jacob Glanville, who estimated 8-10 weeks. His company specializes in creating antibodies, so he would have information to make a sophisticated guess.

He mentioned that timeframe in this interview:

The disadvantage compared to a vaccine is that a vaccine might give you a year or multiple years of protection, Dr Glanville said. Antibodies will only give protection for eight to 10 weeks.
