China is the Winner - That is a Real Reason to Worry

This report today below, following on from the 'World Economic Forum's report that the World will enter the biggest and longest depression in living memory if the restrictions presently imposed in most countries are allowed to continue, is the true reason for all right minded people to worry. Where is the end game politicians? At some point, risks are going to have to be taken, maybe very big ones, if a bigger disaster is not to unfold as economies collapse . 

 

 

There is scant comfort for Britain and other Western democracies in seeing China - the source of the deadly Covid-19 virus - emerging so rapidly and strongly from the crisis.  

The Chinese economy is already up and running again even as the US, the UK and other nations are battling to hold back the tide of illness, death and economic destruction plunging them into a recession 'worse than the global financial crisis', according to the International Monetary Fund. 

What is becoming clear is that by ramping up production and driving recovery, China could be the big winner from the global downturn - and that is an alarming prospect. 

The ability of its leader, Xi Jinping, to invoke the ruthless powers of the state to combat coronavirus and to make sure dissenting voices were silenced gave the Chinese a huge advantage.

Simple solution. Rest of world puts high import duty on Chinese goods and compulsory quarantine.

Why would you worry because a country did all the things necessary to fight the virus?

You do know that the inhabitants of the rest of the world need to pay these duties and not China.

Not if they dont buy. Once they lose their pricing advantage other nations increase output and get the sales. Put in a 10 year plan to phase out any power they have.

Anyone who takes this potential economic threat lightly, might be in for a big shock....

When you look at what they've done and the position they are in now, compared to the other major players, you'd be a fool to ignore what might be happening.

Very soon they will be in a position to buy up more (land, industry etc) than they ever were before..

I am not a fan of their politics, or their totalitarianism.  I lived among the Chinese, albeit in Taiwan, for over 10 years, no issue with Mainlands, just with their duplicitous leaders

If the ROW stop buying Chinese made products, the economic fallout would be 1,000x worse.

I've definitely got China up on my scorecards after the first couple rounds !!

So the right things are:

1) deny the virus exists when it is discovered

2) humiliate and threaten the whistleblowers 

3) pretend there is no problem and encourage your citizens to travel the world knowing full well they are spreading it

4) eventually admit there is a problem

5) lock down tens of millions and fudge the death toll numbers

6) tell everyone it is once again under control

7) encourage your citizens to travel and spread the virus

8 rinse and repeat

Personally, I think China played a master-card here. Destroy the global economy and somehow protect your own. I think there is a darker side, a lot more to this than people realize.

I think it was unintentional. But undoubtedly, they will take advantage of the situation in their bid to be the world’s biggest economy (with Don’s help of course)

By all accounts they certainly did not do that. Their initial cover up in December and lack of truth about the virus has made this become a much much bigger problem.

Unfortunately, the US economy has been based on stocks, not production. The tariffs have inspired some US companies to re-establish manufacturing domestically.

This "crisis" has also demonstrated the downfalls of being a nation that imports its necessities.

One might hope that, when this completes its cycle, there will be a lot of opportunity for growth.

So, they are destroying your personal picture of the perfect world, and taking away what you call paradises from You! I guess that was a personal opinion and that people has different views on that. I have not heard that the residents of either China, India or the rest of Asia has that view. Now we are talking of more than half of the worlds population.

 

For example, what has the Americans, Brits and Russians done over the years with the nice little sleepy fishing village by the great ocean called Pattaya? If that is not destroying a paradise, then it will be impossible to understand what might be.

Just admit that it´s the fear in you talking. Here the power balance regarding world economics might shift, and that will result in both Europe and US having lesser power to tell the rest of the world what to do. In my opinion they have been at the helm doing that for far to long, so any power shift in that area would be greatly appreciated.

China never stole "industry" the Globalists that run the world moved their industries to China and created the "world factory" & increased their profits substantially!
