TrueMove Sim card has expired

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

It seems like my TrueMove prepaid Sim card has expired. It shows "No Service" (I'm not in Thailand right now).

Is there any way to reactivate it?

I've been using this phone number for 5 years, the number is connected to my Kasikorn account. Last time I was toping it up in April 2019. Totally forgot about it after.

I'll try to contact True Move tomorrow, but also wanted to know is there anyone who had the same issue.

thanks.

Do you have on line banking? That's how I top up my prepaid phone.

I do have.

I was just trying to top up the phone, but it says that the number is invalid. It is expired, obviously.

So I guess the only question: is there any way to reactivate it?

Too late for you this time as your sim is now dead. Next time, however, there is a simple way to extend the time before your sim expires. For 12 baht you can extend the expiry date by 180 days, up to a maximum of 18 months I think. The codes for true are here: http://truemoveh.truecorp.co.th/news/detail/292?ln=en. Other carriers likely have similar programs. An added benefit is that any load you add to your sim won't evaporate until the sim expiry date.
