Auntymarybrown
From the Nation : does these mean non Thai people are excluded ? Thanks Free Skytrain rides for the Elderly during Songkran The elderly people aged 60 years old up can produce their national ID cards to get free Skytrain rides from Friday till Sunday. The Songkran Festival is considered a time for family and for younger family members to show respect for their seniors

The Songkran Festival is considered a time for family and for younger family members to show respect for their seniors A holder of a Thai national ID showing they are 60 or over should be fine, but bet the passenger {assuming the passenger is falang} would get some odd looks. I'm reading it on the basis that national = Thai not national = other countries, but there again it is the Nation, that bastion of clarity Regards /edit try to depersonalise// Edited April 13, 2007 by A_Traveller
