BANGKOK (Reuters) - A one-month-old Thai baby, the country's youngest coronavirus patient, has successfully recovered from the illness thanks to a team of medics and the use of a cocktail of antiviral drugs, a doctor said on Wednesday.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - State-owned Airports of Thailand Pcl (AOT.BK) said on Wednesday it expects the number of passengers passing through its airports to decline by 53% this year due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

Details on a Covid-19 vaccine soon, Anutin promises

Details of a Covid-19 vaccine should be available in three months, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Wednesday (April 22).

 

He was speaking after holding a meeting with the National Vaccine Institute during which a blueprint to develop the vaccine was proposed and approved.

Pattaya-area’s top cop donates PPE, snacks to Banglamung Hospital

Pol. Lt. Gen. Montri Yimyam, commander of Provincial Police Region 2, and his wife Patcharaporn, chairwoman of the Police Housewives Club, presented 100 N95 ventilator masks, 260 face shields, 200 white coats, and 10 boxes of face masks to doctors and nurses at Banglamung Hospital April 20.

 

The region’s top police family donated food and personal protection equipment to medical personnel in Pattaya.

BEIJING (Reuters) - Mainland China reported 10 new coronavirus cases as of the end of April 22, down from 30 a day earlier as the number of so-called imported cases involving travelers from overseas declined, the National Health Commission said on Thursday.
