raptorea
1. Do all the same exact steps need to be followed that I did to get my 1st one year extension of stay based on marriage? 2. Will immigration come again to visit the house like they did the first time? 3. How soon before my current extension of stay expires can I file for a new one? IvorBiggun2
Whilst we're on the Marriage Extension topic. I'm going for my second time Married Extension and want confirmation that it is 2 months prior to application that the money has to be in the bank? Thank you. JackThompson
1) Yes, assuming you will use the same Financial and Residence information - though each office makes up it's own rules, and may change what they require. 2) They may - depends on which office, and/or if you use an agent 3) 30 or 45 days in advance, generally ,depending on which office 1 hour ago, IvorBiggun2 said: confirmation that it is 2 months prior to application that the money has to be in the bank? Yes - 2 months before and you can apply. But, at some offices, you must leave the bank-balance above 400K during the under-consideration period, which is usually one more month, but sometimes two (asked to come back again, after returning the first time). This is because those offices think the 2-month rule isn't long-enough, so have effectively extended this "seasoning" period, contrary to the law (not a new thing for them to do, and get away with doing without repurcussion).
