The Cambodian Mong Reththy Group,  the country's largest local agribusiness company, and Korean mango exporter Hyundai Agro are discussing ways to seek a solution for mango exports. Chang-Hoon Lee, managing director of Hyundai Agro, told The Khmer Times that both sides have discussed the current situation of the local mango market.

“We agreed to exchange skills, techniques and know- how to each other. We [Hyundai] will support MRG to follow the guidelines to meet South Korea’s regulations because the Korea market is very strict with chemicals and records, plus worm and disease control when it comes to such fruit exports,” he said. “So we listened to the company’s problems about its marketing challenges and we both agreed to solve them together.”

that's funny.

Almost all planes are on the ground so how can they not find a plane????

Think aircarriers will jump as high as possible if they could rent out a flight or plane even if it is just for transport mangoes.

Generally cargo like that is flown as space available on commercial airline flights. That is a common way they can get low cost transport, and the airlines maximize their revenue by filling planes to maximum weight for a flight.

So without passenger airlines filled with actual passengers and subsidizing the cost, there is no way to send the mangos. You would need orders for a lot of very expensive fruit to justify a charter flight just for that purpose.

So it may be possible if price is irrelevant, but in the real world  there is simply no low cost air transport available right now.
