At risk of outing myself for having a sub-Mensa IQ...how is one supposed to use sunscreen?

Do you rub it all in?

Or do you rub half in, and leave the other half on the surface of your skin?

Or do you leave it all on the surface of your skin, without rubbing any of it in?

In full disclosure, the third option feels best. But I've come to learn that just because something feels good doesn't necessarily make it the best decision for your health.

First, i'd suggest reading and following the directions on the product. But given many farang don't read Thai, or don't read directions to begin with, this suggestion may fall flat.

I usually use your third option, and recommend using is as a 'cover', not rubbing it in. Use more on areas that are prone to burning.

Even then, wear protective shading such as hats or long-sleeve shirts. Sunscreen isn't a panacea.
