Popular Post Andrew Dwyer
On my last visit I noticed my Makro ( Ayutthaya ) are now selling Ruby Red grapefruit from the US ( Sunkist ). At 99 baht a kilo ( 3 good sized ones ) they are expensive compared to ALDI prices but not far off what I would pay in my local Co-op ( 78p each ). Bought 4 last week and just been back for another 4 today so I can recommend. Have been compromising with Somho over here but have found them to be hit and miss a little and expensive if you go for the better variants. Anyhoo, another symptom of excessive lockdown to add to the list “ starting threads about grapefruit “ ???? 2

The suspense is killing me, I can't wait to read of your next exploit and the photo where you slice the Grapefruit just to show us how pink it is. Excuse me, I must return to watching lizards go up the wall. Edited May 20, 2020 by DaRoadrunner

tonray
I love grapefruit but cannot eat due to the amplification effect is has on many meds . Some may not be aware..just a caution. My friend's doctor was stunned that his cholesterol had gone so low between tests...turned out the grapefruit had effectively doubled his statin dose effect inside his body. But I love grapefruit...I believe Pomelo also same issue to a lesser degree Edited May 21, 2020 by tonray 1
Maybole
I thank you for this. I would encourage other TV members to pass on information on bargains and/or unusual items for sale. That is one of the functions of a form like this.
