Bangkok governor Pol General Aswin Kwanmuang called on related agencies on Monday (June 1) to get schools to prepare for reopening on July 1.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Association (BMA)’s Education Department, meanwhile, is offering schools four options:

Getting students to attend on alternate days;

Getting students to attend based on odd or even dates;

Getting students to attend classes at different times; or

Dividing classes into two groups based on school size and area.

The department has been assigned to collect suggestions from teachers and parents to present to the BMA. The agency is also focusing on children with special needs.

Teachers may have to go to a 6-day work week. And NO breaks for mid-semester or Christmas. Gonna be a LOOOOOOOOONG ten months.
